Why Do We Pray for This?
Many parents today weep over children who have turned away from God, the church, and their own home. But the story of the prodigal son reminds us that our heavenly Father never stops waiting, and that no child is so far away that His love cannot reach them. We pray with faith and hope, believing the Lord is faithful to bring every son and daughter back home.
The Return of the Prodigal Children
- That the Holy Spirit would touch the heart of every son and daughter who has wandered and stir conviction and a longing to come home.
- That God would watch over, protect, and keep prodigal children wherever they are.
- That parents would wait in faith, with open arms and without condemnation, ready to welcome them with love.
- That God would send people and opportunities to guide prodigal children back to the Father's house.
