¿Por Qué Oramos Sobre Esto?

Porque la familiaridad puede apagar lo que debería encendernos. Cuando perdemos el asombro, también perdemos la urgencia, la reverencia y la entrega. Oramos para que el peso de Su gloria nos despierte del letargo espiritual y nos lleve a una adoración viva. Este clamor es por corazones que no entren por rutina, sino con ojos abiertos y alma rendida ante la majestad de Dios.

 

Que el Asombro de Tu Gloria Nos Despierte

Señor, no queremos llegar a esta vigilia con el corazón apagado o acostumbrado. No es “una noche más”—es una noche Contigo. Haznos conscientes de a Quién estamos preparando este lugar. Quita la familiaridad. Devuélvenos el asombro. Que entremos con temor reverente, con gozo, con expectativa santa. Abre nuestros ojos para ver Tu gloria, y que nuestro corazón se rinda en amor.

Why Do We Pray for This?

Because familiarity can dull what should ignite us. When we lose wonder, we lose urgency, reverence, and surrender. We pray for the weight of His glory to wake us from spiritual numbness and lead us into living worship. This cry is for hearts that don’t enter by routine—but with open eyes and a soul bowed before the majesty of God.

 

Let the Wonder of Your Glory Wake Us Up

Lord, we don’t want to come into this Nightwatch numb or familiar. This isn’t just “another night”—it’s a night with You. Make us aware of who we’re preparing this space for. Remove all casualness. Bring back the wonder. Let us enter with reverent fear, with joy, with holy expectation. Open our eyes to see Your glory—and let our hearts surrender in love.
